About the Project
Jam Factory Art Center is the largest contemporary art center in Lviv, located in an old industrial building that originally produced alcoholic beverages and later fruit and vegetable preserves. Now it hosts exhibitions, theater and music performances, and educational events in specially renovated premises.
In 2024, the art center's space was updated with Fix Street Furniture. High-quality three- and single-section trash cans, street planters that can be moved if necessary, thereby immediately changing the visual concept, and several types of benches.
In particular, for the courtyard, our team developed an individual design, agreeing on the shape, size, materials, and all the nuances of the future street elements. Larch was used for this bench because it is the strongest of the softwoods and also works very well in the form of timber. Larch is also durable, resistant to temperature changes, moisture, and mold. One of the two benches is 6 meters long, and their distinctive feature is their rather brutal yet natural style, which fits perfectly into the courtyard of the Jam Factory Art Center — a factory that has become an art center.
