Renovated space near the Forum Lviv shopping mall

Functionality, accessibility, and comfort — a new concept for the renovated square near the shopping center.

The main focus of the project is on new-format benches specially designed for this location.

The Fix Union team has created a comprehensive solution that combines modern urban design, ergonomics, and the needs of different groups of residents.

Unique benches from Fix Union: we support the idea of an inclusive and people-friendly urban environment.

1. Optimal height of handrails 
The height was chosen so that a person could easily lean on it when sitting down or standing up. This is important for people with limited mobility, older people, parents with children, people after injuries or with temporary mobility restrictions.

2. High backrest with a well-thought-out angle 
The backrest has a special angle that supports the natural posture of the body and does not create tension in the lower back.

This design helps to: 
• reduce the load on the joints, 
• change body position more easily, 
• get up from the bench without effort.

3. Inclusivity without compromise 
The benches are suitable for people with different anthropometric parameters, which is why they are comfortable for both children and adults to sit on. The materials have been selected to ensure that the structure is durable, weather-resistant, and pleasant to the touch.

The project involved transforming the area near the Forum Lviv shopping center into a modern, comfortable, and safe public space — a square that will become a center of attraction for city residents, guests, and visitors to shopping and entertainment establishments.

Through the combination of greenery, zoning, and well-designed street furniture, the space encourages communication, urban culture, and the development of sustainable urban practices.
