Here is a polished English version suitable for a website, LinkedIn post, or company news article:

As part of Industry Forum Lviv and the Woodworking Exhibition, the WOOD CIRCULAR 2050 Hackathon brought together students from vocational and technical education institutions across the Lviv region, representatives of the furniture industry, sector experts, and civil society organizations to explore sustainable manufacturing, circular economy principles, and the professions of the future.

The FIX union team joined the event, with the company's Development Director, Oksana Straz, serving as a member of the hackathon jury alongside other representatives of the Lviv Furniture Cluster: Taras Levytskyi, Director and Co-founder of the WoodLuck Social Workshop, and Taras Prystupa, CEO of Furniture Park.

During the event, Oksana shared FIX union's practical experience with the participants and presented the complete process of creating modern urban furniture — from concept development and design to manufacturing, installation, and integration into public spaces. Participants gained valuable insight into how products that transform urban environments and enhance the quality of public spaces are created.

More than twenty students from vocational and technical education institutions in the Lviv region took part in the hackathon, working on new products made from production leftovers and waste materials. Divided into teams, they developed their own concepts, demonstrating the practical application of upcycling, circular economy principles, and responsible resource management.

As a jury member, Oksana Straz highlighted the participants' strong preparation, creativity, and willingness to work with modern technologies.

"Today’s young people think boldly, are not afraid to experiment, and actively use new tools to bring their ideas to life. These are exactly the approaches that will shape the future of the furniture industry," she noted during the project presentations.

For FIX union, participation in initiatives like this is an important contribution to the development of the industry and the support of future professionals. Collaboration between business and education helps young people better understand real market needs while allowing companies to connect with a new generation of talented specialists.

WOOD CIRCULAR 2050 once again demonstrated that the future of Ukraine’s furniture industry is built where business expertise, modern education, and the energy of young people come together.

The event was implemented with the support of the Lviv Regional State Administration, the Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region, the Department of Education and Science of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Lviv Vocational College of Beauty Industry and Fashion, the Technological Professional College of the Ukrainian National Forestry University, Lviv Vocational College of Applied Arts and Design, and within the framework of the international SKYLA Interreg Europe project.
